Charlottesville Farmer's Market

I've come to find that if you want to better understand the character of and take the pulse of a place the farmer's market is a pretty good place to do that. Here is a short photo blog of the sights at the market in Charlottesville, VA.

That's a lot of diversity in one place. I'd say it reflects what I have observed elsewhere while I've been here and that is worth celebrating!

Cheers!

Oh, how I love farmers markets!! We are in the process of planning a trip up the coast to San Francisco and I'm planning it around local market days! Can't wait! Yours looks wonderful.

I love to see what's happening at farmers' markets in regions other than my own. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Jason, I passed thru Vermont briefly on Monday. Took the ferry from Charlotte to Essex, NY. Might check out the market in Willsboro tomorrow.
